"Ninja Star" tessellation, which I came up with today. The photos show the basic pattern and the tessellated form, against the light and front lit (different sides). Someone may have come up with this already (I'm not well versed in existing patterns) but it's new to me. #origami #tessellation

I designed a new #origami dragon today. I want to create a really simple one but that's easier said than done. This is neither really complex not really simple, but I like the result. It really looks like a lizard with wings although not able to fly without magical assistance due to the proportions.

An origami group I belong to challenged us to design models based on an 8x8 pleated grid. So far (since last Wednesday) I have a Corgi, a guacamaya, a cross, and a dragon. #origami

I'm finding this miniseries very interesting and objective—I say this as someone who was fooled into being a member of the LC for two decades (I got out more than ten years ago, thankfully) without having been physically subject to sexual abuse, although every member was subject to other abuses.

I am an absolutely terrible liar. I have no poker face at all. I generally think honesty is the best policy, but it strikes me how inconvenient this involuntary transparency can be sometimes! I don't want to lie in a way that hurts anyone, but sometimes an untruth is compassionate and expedient.
