Well that didn't last long. I ran into a softlock bug in the Tome Mistress Marionette boss fight. Reducing the boss' health to 0 renders them inert. The fight doesn't end or anything. I'm just trapped in an endless boss fight where I can't even die. #Mandragora #Gaming

This time, I combined a whole bunch again. Hell Crusher, Final Carnage, Helmeter, Doomgal, Flashlight++, and Nash Gore NEXT. It's a little bit amazing.

Today, we're looking at a gameplay mod called Project Nomad. One of the best overpowered mods I've ever played, really. It also seems to fit really well in the Doom 64 for Doom 2 map set. Coolest thing here is the ability to pick up and throw the explosive nukage barrels.

So I found a gameplay mod called Hell Crusher, and... well, let's just say I think it would feel most at home in a slaughtermap pack. So I took it into Slaughterfest 2012. Many many dakka make the happy brain chemicals occur.

So Jazzmaster made another Abysm game! Abysm X: Dance of Blood It's pretty great so far! I'm a little disappointed there aren't many new weapons, and some of the maps have some big, empty, open spaces with nothing in them, but overall, another solid entry in the Abysm series!

So, a friend requested that I come up with a combination of mods for "a fishing trip gone horribly wrong." The combination of Vox Arcana, DBP 36: Aquatic Wonder, and Grapple Z Reel came to mind.

After playing so much Hell Forged recently, I figured I'd move onto REKKR. First time I tried to play this, I thought it was a Doom 2 TC, but it was actually for Ultimate Doom, so what wound up happening was I loaded into the Doom 2 maps with REKKR's monsters, textures, and weapons.

I decided to go back to Hell Forged proper so I can test out all the new weapons among the quality-of-life improvements made to the level design. Really love the new crossbow! It's a lot of fun! There need to be more shooters with dark gothic fantasy weapons like this.

So I finally learned how to extract the Legacy of Rust wad from my Steam folders for Doom + Doom II. To that end, I chose to play a little bit of it just so I could show off just how cool it is. I fucking LOVE the Incinerator and the Calamity Blade.

So I fell into a trap of my own making. Playing Ashes 2063 for yesterday's update has caused me to succumb to the urge to play through ALL FOUR ASHES 2063 GAMES CURRENTLY RELEASED. So... it'll be a little while before my next episode. See ya in a bit!

It was only a matter of time before I covered this masterpiece. I decided to replay Ashes 2063, because it's an absolutely outstanding total conversion mod. Maybe next time I'll take the weapon and monster packs and toss them into another map pack.

This next combination is Vox Arcana for the gameplay, and Witching Hour for the map pack. This one gives me Dusk vibes. Dusk is made by the guy who made Iron Lung. Dusk is a 12 out of 10 game. GO PLAY DUSK.

What's on the menu for today? More SNES inspired gameplay mods! Combined Arms with DBP 10: Earth Ends. With Combined Arms, I'm using the guy with the flamethrower. Because flamethrowers.

Felt like playing a little Contra today, so I took Contra Doom into Urban Side. This was short, sweet, and fun! Though I underestimated just how powerful the homing shot and spread shot are in this mod. You'll want to either avoid those, or play on a higher difficulty than you usually do.

I love Hell Forged, and have been patiently waiting for the sequel. Unfortunately, it's still not out yet. So I did the next best thing. I made a sequel with mods! I took Hell Forged's weapons and monsters and put them into DBP 29: Morbid Autumn, because it's got very similar vibes.

I've been binging the Aliens and Predator movies lately, so I decided to showcase one of my favorite Alien mods for Doom. ALIENS: ERADICATION may not be the first Alien themed total conversion mod, but it is one of the best. Suspenseful, scary, and not lacking for action.

I'm sorry guys, I know I said I'd post fewer mods about killing Nazis... but killing Nazis is just too much fun. Here's Brutal Wolfenstein, which is ostensibly a full remake of Wolfenstein 3D with updated mechanics, music, and bucket-loads of extra gore. It's good fun.

"Classic" is a broad concept here, because I'm 40 years old and grew up with the NES, SNES and etc... so here are the "classic" games that defined my earliest formative years.

High Noon Drifter gameplay, Kriegsland enemies, and Tetanus for the map pack. Tetanus is heavily inspired by Steam Gardens from Super Mario Odyssey, so it's a lot of fun. Honestly, I don't have much to say about this one. It's a good, fun combination. Try it out sometime!

I made the jump from GZDoom to UZDoom recently, and I've had to redo all of my preferred settings. Mouse sensitivity, keybinds, things like that. I've been using Walpurigs and Hexen to make those changes because... reasons. Also, I really wanted to play as Walpurgis' Druid class again.

Three in a row?! Doom mods are the gift that keeps on giving! After finding the Kriegsland Blutorden mod, I couldn't resist taking it into Legacy of Heroes. I swear, any Wolfenstein gameplay and enemy pack works just perfectly with this map pack. And I had the strongest urge to kill Nazis today.
