While I was walking my dog, I noticed a man using a walker who seemed to be struggling. I asked him if he needed help. I learned the snow had blocked his path home and he couldn’t navigate the path with his walker. I was 30 seconds from home and my car. I offered him a ride and he accepted. 1/2

I enjoyed a few games of pre-holiday pool and I am absolutely loving my new pool cue. As a beginner, I am finding that the consistency of using the same cue is helpful in developing my pool skills.

In 2017, I made 60 gift bags for street-involved people in my neighbourhood. Many people told me it was the only gift they received that year. After that experience, I was committed helping my underprivileged neighbours. I always feel proud to remember where it all began.

I was going to send an adorable photo of my cat and dog sleeping together on my bed to my family. Just before I clicked ‘send’, I noticed a certain adult toy that makes a “buzz buzz” sound lying on the bed. Whew! I’m glad I caught that in time. 😂

Lunch at Beckta 💕

I have enjoyed many delightful dinners at Beckta, but I recently had the opportunity to enjoy my first lunch which is served in their gorgeous wine bar.

Take a bow! The Nutcracker performed by the Winnipeg Ballet and the NAC orchestra was a highlight of 2025. 🎀

An incredibly thoughtful gentleman purchased front-row tickets in July to take me to the Nutcracker at the NAC. It was so neat to be able to see both the ballet performers and the orchestra so close that we could see their facial expressions. It was an evening to remember!

An evening of jazz music is good for the soul. A suitor and I have been bonding over our love of jazz music and he has taken me for four concerts this season. I look forward to more in 2026!
