Yesterday was a special day, our first bona fide human muscle biopsy. Not piggybacked, strictly recruited to our study that we wrote our own IRB for. There were so many roadblocks, but we regrouped, made changes, refinanced, and lots of apologizing and begging and waiting. I will never forget this.

Yesterday, the Metabolism community at Utah had an unparalleled opportunity to host two ass-kicking stars. Mindblowing boldness and razor-sharp intuition in their research. Also helped James and I share our lineage at Michigan and Jing and I at WashU!
