Art can be such a joy. Coworkers caught on to the sticky note drawings I'm doing. I've been requested to draw some of my coworkers now as fictional characters

I'll admit, the sticky note art is working for me. Its easy, its quick, low commitment and each piece is just a spur of the moment decision when I think of something funny. Does feel like its becoming easier and easier to stay on it, especially when it seems to make some people smile. A bonus.

Actually something to consider. Dont have money but you really want to support an author? Ask your local library how to request books so they can buy a copy or two for you and your local community. Its usually an easy process and typically takes at most a few minutes of your time to fill out a form

Hard to keep things in my sketch pad. If I like it, I tear it out and tape it to my wall. I just like having reminders if the things im proud of. I also have added some compliments to things like my fan fics to it for more motivation. I should add more at some point tbh.

Ya might be wondering what the deal is with all the sticky note responses. Pinning it here to clear any confusion. Im trying to learn to animate and make comics. Both require a ridiculous amount of drawing. My S notes are just a way to break in the habit of drawing a lot.

Was sketching this out before I got eepy. Kinda in an Amy mood now. Might sketch more of the home girl out later. One thong thats sick about sonic characters is that theyre a treat to break down into shapes and play perspective games with em. Its actually super handy in teaching me some basics.

I went from drawing metal sonic cause they adhd hyperfixation demanded it, to covering my office with sticky note drawings, to making a flip book out of sticky notes for a metal sonic animation to busting out Krita and learning to animate tonight. Its been a busy 3 days...

Don't know if I'll continue this, but since I've been painting away on my warhammer minis, I thought I would try my hand on throwing what I've learned about volume on this. Its... a work in progress but came out better than I hoped tbh. My boooy #metalsonic

I've started painting warhammer mini's (tau empire bby, Good is Great) It's been an absolute blast but man does it make me think about my own art style as I go. It's just little things as I get used to the brushes, makes me wonder if I should start exploring brush settings soon

Fact. Every time you add a stuffed bear to your fantasy writing, theres a risk of accidentally spawning Teddy Roosevelt into your verse. No really, we call them Teddy Bears because of Teddy Roosevelt. If you call a stuffie a Teddy Bear, you run the risk of summoning him in your verse.

I'm a lil giddy over my recent fan fic chapter. Up to this point its been 9 chapters (50k words) worth of cutesy neruodivergent MC stuff of accepting one's transness. Been cute, been fun, but the set up is done. Time to hurt :)
