I have grilled elk every night this year! Daughter heading home to Montana tomorrow, had to do one more dinner from her elk before her departure. Delicious. Think we will do elk the rest of the year!

I used to hit Chicago bookstores this time of the year to find first-edition Christmas books for our kids. Two kids have this treasure, Howard Finster’s “The Night Before Christmas.” Most know Finster’s album cover designs for REM & Talking Heads. The illustrations and hand-lettering are joyful!
