TUNER is a solid film. Leo Woodall is especially great as the titular character who gets caught up in heists to help pay off his friend’s medical debt. Great sound design and story that’ll keep you engaged. #TIFF50 #TIFF2025

THE TESTAMENT OF ANN LEE was not for me. A hollow film that doesn’t offer any real depth or insight into the real-life woman it follows. Amanda Seyfried’s performance and singing voice are excellent though. #TIFF50 #TIFF2025

Recap of films seen today at #TIFF2025: Sentimental Value - amazing, perfect, no notes. A Private Life - an interesting drama that has good intentions but is a bit all over the place. It Was Just an Accident - a strong story of vengeance with an even stronger cast. I was riveted the whole time.
