Been doing a bunch of work in Illustrator lately for school (typography and vector graphics), and I can confidently say that the first step in my workflow every single time is to set the artboard background to #666666.

Today's reprint vs yesterday's print failure. Re-oriented and tried Lychee's updated auto supports. Not done yet but the FEP is quiet, so fingers are crossed.

Today we learned the value of using appropriately-sized supports for your print. Let's see what lesson we learn tomorrow lol

Garage resin printing setup is more or less complete now. About half a week ago, a family friend gifted me his printer because he wasn't using it, and I expressed interest. I think I now have a comfortable and moderately safe garage setup.

I have to hand it to Vintage Visual. My AGO film processor broke out of nowhere yesterday and more or less fried itself. There was no hassle from their team at all. These guys really are great.

I'm not a huge stationery guy, but my trusty Lamy Safari and my bottle of blue ink make doing dozens of thumbnail sketches for assignments a bit more fun.

The biggest takeaway I've had from my graphic design major thus far is that pirating Adobe apps is in my future 💙
