It was great to speak at a roundtable organised by Montagu Evans LLP yesterday, where I set out @mayoroflondon.bsky.social's priorities for 2026. These include kickstarting housing delivery; developing a draft London Plan; and getting the Oxford Street transformation scheme on a firm footing.

Today, one of the two tunnel boring machines that will construct the tunnel from Old Oak Common to Euston was launched, bringing the completion of HS2 one step closer.

Tackling London's housing crisis is a priority for @mayoroflondon.bsky.social and the Accelerating Housing Delivery Practice Note published today is the latest step from the Mayor to bring forward measures to unlock housing delivery in response to challenging economic headwinds.
