so actually now that I think about it I have 3 choices to practice next for body parts, hands, legs, and BALLS i mean BALLS i mean-

eventually I will assemble all these body parts like that one yu-gi-yo card that wins you the game and then I can make a very kissable lion man.

Day 18: maybe I am actually improving as an artist *proceeds to draw abs*

Day 17: After I came back home I felt like drawing circles and some suns and moon thingys :)

day 16: i was travelling recently and wanted to draw things I saw to relieve some boredom

oops it’s been a hot minute since I’ve last posted

Day 15: oh god the lion brainrot is settling in send in more lions i mean help

Day 14: I did some random sketchies during D&D so not much focus here but I did randomly get the inspiration to draw some lion muzzles owo

Day 13: another mannequin-style drawing but I really had difficulty getting the other half of the arm behind the head lol.

Day 12: Back to my comfort basics and also trying out some weird lines to make some weird 3D shapes.

Day 11: practicing multiple methods off of one reference. One being gesture and 3D form, the other is trying to practice muscles and how they look on skin, the third is a face attempt.

Did end up taking a few days of break but I couldnt step away for long this drawing stuff is just kinda fun tbh.

DAY 10 BUT ACTUALLY: look at all them gestures omg so many gestures. Found a neat website to help me practice random poses in a limited amount of time. I enjoyed this a lot actually owo.

Day 9: more figure drawings and attempts at form. Bonus: decided to draw the fireplace at my house because someone told me to draw from real objects and I said aight bet.

I SKIPPED 4 NUMBERS DAY 8: PROPORTION PRACTICE POG??

Day 10? Worked on shapes of muscles and etc couldnt really get it down but I got a new pen and I wanted to do that too :>

So erm.. forgot to post for the last few days so gonna do a lil.. rapid fire posting.

Think I went too hard for my first week but I’ll be back on the art grind soon.. got new supplies and shit so excited to try them out!!

Day 6: Wanted to take a light day today so I worked on spheres and shading! @yeensbeanbeans.bsky.social was teaching me a lot about this while he was streaming so go check him out if you have the chance!!

Day 5: Forgot to post yesterday cause I fell asleep after D&D hehe. I tried blind contour drawing and I kept accidentally looking at my paper while I did it >.< I did do spheres though and a decent face??? POG??

Day 4.5: It's time to abandon the comfort cubes and trace but with my EYES. I didn't realize until the end that muscles are shadows not lines. There's quite a bit of other jank here but I mean HOLY LOOK AT ME GO.🔥🔥🔥

Day 4: Bit of a huge mess but I'm really proud that I can BEND THE CUBES. IM A CUBE-BENDER HOLY WOW. Got a lil ambitious with trying to map muscles onto this figure but might as well start sooner rather than later. 😛

OH almost forgot I always had it in the back of my head to maybe start posting my art on social media but ultimately @yeensbeanbeans.bsky.social gave me the push I needed so thank you!! ^w^

Day 3: Back to reference drawing and it's pretty sloppy but it's definitely remarkable improvement over days 1 and 2 😀

Day 2: Cube brainrot, AKA I drew a bunch of cubes so I could figure out how to draw 3D shapes in a 2D plane 😮‍

Day 1: Started with drawing digitally on a mouse but I've been told by a lot of people it's probably better to do pencil + paper >w<

So I started playing D&D recently and I was looking for art for my token. I came across an AI-generated but I didn't really vibe with it so I decided to start drawing to make my own instead! Gonna start posting my progress here ^.^
