For danmei readers, I really recommend A Certain Someone by Mu Su Li. It's an incredibly slow novel (don't underestimate the slowburn in this ) but one of the sweetest romance novels that i read this year.

2024 Wrapped for #Storygraph ! I had so many stand out novels this year. Particularly Yellowface and also The Darkness Outside Us were amazing. Next year I hope I'll move out of my comfort zone and tackle even more genres !

Random thought but in the recept years there's been a lot of "girlfriend" fans in kpop fandoms I think ? Like not the fun kind but the really serious kind. Its uncomfortable to look at their level of parasocial relationship. A lot of them even go to fansigns to fuel their delusions too.

Among all the animes I watched in my childhood, Ranma 1/2 is something that I think kind of shaped my views about how much gender is influenced by society and appearances. I stopped thinking of gender as a rigid concept.

This !!!!! I enjoy the algorithm here a lot more than on twtr. Plus the user base is also pretty nice so far. Also, little to no bots in replies. The replies themselves are actually useful and not full of regurgitated AI replies from "premium" accounts.

Appreciate this may not be a universally popular opinion but the less you treat BlueSky as a crusade or cause, and the more you position it as simply a superior user experience with a better governance approach, the more sustainable the growth will be.
