One of the reasons I've tried to tamp down enthusiasm for "computational thinking" a bit - besides the general lack of theory/evidence - is that a lot of the underlying motivation is, implicitly or explicitly, that people who know computer science stuff think better than others *about everything*.
add a skeleton here at some point
