U guys don’t understand. Friday nights are when my pool boy drives up from Kent (I don’t pay him enough to afford Seattle) to keep me company and clean the pool. ACTUALLY we were talking about the community of CARS here. CARS have NEEDS and even tho there are 7 official lots & endless street parking, they really like to go swimming/diving in the lake and it won't be so easy when they can't get a running start. NOW that's just not fair, is it, young man?!

This woman is right. I know many of us have certainly had WAY too much closure with our children and even grandchildren, who have made clear they won't speak to us anymore because we keep showing up at public comment and protests to fight against building any new homes near us that they can afford.

Oh, please, "Brett". Affluent white homeowners have ALWAYS stood for and demanded equity. Who else has worked harder to earn enormous amounts of equity off of our rising property values while doing absolutely nothing at all as more and more people can't afford homes?!

EVERYONE should be pissed! Running over cyclists and pedestrians with our cars is a HUMAN RIGHT. How dare the city try to take that away from us?! THIS IS AMERICA!

Here's the truth: Wealthy white waterfront homeowners deserve more access to public spaces than the poors who can't even afford CARS. I don't make the rules! We need more EQUITY now! Many wealthy waterfront homeowners I know haven't even been able to hit $1 million in equity from their homes yet!
