The Walk For Peace candlelight vigil has been changed to February 10 at 5:30 PM at the Monument. That is the day the monks will arrive in Washington DC. Please bring battery operated candles or other non-flame light sources.

What a great meeting we had today! ElleK of the Democrats of the Desert gave a great speech. Thank you to everyone who came and a special thanks to all who signed up for a committee.

Our first meeting of the year is tonight at the Idyllwild Library. The speaker will start promptly at 5:30. If you are wondering what you can do to change what’s happening in our country, come tonight and join one of our committees that are working to implement change.

There will be a CA Prop 50 Demonstration on Sunday, November 2 , from 1:00-2:00pm. It will remind visitors to vote and to cheer those who’ve already voted. If enough of us show up we can station a group at south and north entrance to Idyllwild on Hwy 243.

Idyllwild will have a Good Trouble event on July 17 that will start at the library at 4pm and end at the Town Monument at 6pm. At 4pm there’ll be a short video of John Lewis in 1960 getting into good trouble. At 5:30pm we’ll march. You can join us at 4pm or 5:30pm in front of the library.
