Don’t forget Bagel Friday at Raven Hill bagels on 11/7 at 10 am for a casual Indivisible meeting.

There will be a CA Prop 50 Demonstration on Sunday, November 2 , from 1:00-2:00pm. It will remind visitors to vote and to cheer those who’ve already voted. If enough of us show up we can station a group at south and north entrance to Idyllwild on Hwy 243.

Trump isn’t sending the National Guard into Memphis to fight crime. He’s sending the guard into our cities to get Americans used to the idea of armed troops in their streets so fewer will resist a Trump dictatorship.

Idyllwild will have a Good Trouble event on July 17 that will start at the library at 4pm and end at the Town Monument at 6pm. At 4pm there’ll be a short video of John Lewis in 1960 getting into good trouble. At 5:30pm we’ll march. You can join us at 4pm or 5:30pm in front of the library.

We’re training a million Americans to lead a local resistance movement. This is how we dramatically ramp up defiance and non-cooperation tactics society-wide, whether it be at corporations, education, the media or neighborhoods. One Million Rising launches in three days and we hope you will join us.

Wear red/white/blue to the protests. Bring American flags. WE are the patriots. Not ICE, not the Proud Boys, not our local militia.

At the protests, we don’t expect tear gas but we do have local militia who may try to pepper spray protestors. They are trying to incite violence. Wash out eyes with copious amounts of water or mix of water and milk of magnesia.

During the protests, have your phone out and film everything. Turn off Face ID, make sure you are password protected.

Remember, during the protests this Saturday, if there is any violence, no matter which side provokes it, sit down where you are (as long as it is safe) and put your sign down. We are non-violent and don’t want our members to be arrested.
