Spent the day in the garden. Planted peas, broccoli, collards, cabbage, cauliflower, & onions. Next week I’ll get the lettuce , carrots, beets planted. It’s greening up out there. Yarrow, Columbine, Bee Balm, Salvias, two types of coneflower, comfrey, brown-eyed susans, & more are all showing up.

Just got home from an event over at UTK featuring Joy Harjo. She is delightful. She read poems from “An American Sunrise”, a few pages from a children’s book and a poem from her new book “Cloud Runner”. I feel lighter for being in her presence.
