Justice can’t be delivered without dedicated legal professionals. I had the privilege of meeting many during my visit to Cardiff, speaking to prosecutors, lawyers and victim liaison officers at the CPS as well as barristers from @walesandchester.bsky.social

A big thank you to all who gave up their weekend to help on our pupil advocacy assessment day. Members of circuit, their friends and family all helped to train our pupils in readiness for their second six. Well done indeed to our pupils!

⚖️Together with circuit leader Caroline Rees KC, we then headed over to Cardiff Crown Court library where we met with the Solicitor General and the Attorney General as well as barristers and judges on circuit.

We were delighted to welcome Barbara Mills KC, Chair of the Bar, to Circuit this week. We also had the pleasure of welcoming Lord Harmer, the Attorney General, and @lucyrigby.bsky.social Solicitor General to Cardiff Crown Court.
