Silent Hill 2 remake’s Dualsense controller implementation is so, so good, oh my god. The triggers are ok, but the haptic feedback adds so much to the tension. *Feeling* Pyramid Head’s footsteps as I progressed the grandfather clock puzzle was incredible.

Y’know that feeling when you recently did something really exciting, like go on a trip or had really fun night out with friends, but trying to remember it feels like it didn’t happen? I’m kinda feeling that with my VR playthrough of Half-Life 2. Like damn, it really was that remarkable.

If this shows in the nearby city, (it will most likely not), I WILL watch it.

Playing only 40 or so minutes of Silent Hill 2 a night now that I’m back at work, and maybe it’s for the best cuz goddamn, this game is just heavy to *play*.

Finally finished Catch-22. Easily the funniest book I’ve ever read, and just a damn good book overall.

I almost don’t want to admit it, but… the Silent Hill 2 remake is scary. The sound design is almost too good, and goddamn, they nailed that foggy look. I consider Silent Hill 2 to be a perfect game, so I was always skeptical of Bloober’s take on it, but damn, I’m liking it a lot so far…

Finally, finally beat Half Life 1. The fact I tried playing the VR version is absurd, cuz playing it in flatscreen was hard enough, OTL I didn’t like it… but I do have a lot of respect for it. Kinda like OG RE4, but my dislike is stronger, yet my respect is higher in this case, lmao
