whelp, there ends @janeypoodle.bsky.social's and my Tom and Jerry movie marathon. Adapting Tom and Jerry to film length is a tough nut to crack. I'd say only Fast and The Furry succeeded. As for Forbidden Compass... "Forbidden Movie" more like. I can't believe how mind-numbingly awful it was.

I've been debating on covering a cartoon episode I dislike for my next video. But, I hate the idea of being seen as a "cartoon reviewer" especially given the stigma around negative reviews. I am rather concerned with my image regarding my content.

The other day my nephew was telling my mom about some latest AI model, showing her the newest slop video and going "It's so real! You could make this!" And my mom just looked at him confused and said, "Why would I want to?" Most accidentally based thing my mom ever said.

Midsommer. I feel like that's a rather "basic" take for film fans, but... I like discomfort film. I LOVE Visitor Q. Door 2 also really captured me. I'm fine rewatching both. But, Midsommer tells a tragic tale that I feel I got enough of a sense of what it's about out of one viewing.

Seeing as people are once again realizing Nintendo's greed, let me remind you that you'll have be subscribed to NSO to use the Call button next month. Calls won't be free anymore. It is absolutely dystopian to me that you will have to PAY to use a button on your controller.

I like releasing these games so you don't have to pay a subscription to NSO (I really think PS+ got it right with how it does its Classics line), but $20 is WAAAAY too much for GBA games.
