Going to my ongoing complaint about Dem party coms. They keep trying to talk to voters about complex nuanced things with complex nuanced arguments. They’re doing better with the Republicans shut down the government. They are in power. They did this. When they try to explain more they lose.

Hillary Clinton referred to SOME Trump supporters as”deplorable,” and the political media had a meltdown. Trump refers to all Democrats as anti-American radical communists and “the enemy within,” and it’s no big deal. His reckless and dangerous demonization has been fully normalized.

I am not even sure how this could work or would work.

I just listened to Jeffries talking about the upcoming government funding crisis. This is why the Democrats keep losing. He focused on a bunch of numbers and policy workery and didn’t say something simple. He tried to make sense and that doesn’t work.

The more economically SENSIBLE approach would have been to increase the baseline salary for a H1B by MORE than $100,000 - i.e. keep the salary to quality in line with the CPI since it was introduced (making it need a salary of $200,000) - that would have a similar effect but with more net impact.
