The FOMO is real!

I have some serious FOMO right now. Almost everyone I know is going to FWA this week and I cannot. So some irl friends of mine are probably going to meet some online friends of mine before I have a chance to. And I really wanted to spend time with friends.

Had to cancel hike. Weather got really rainy and my hike is right next to a brook. Way too much water to be safe to hike.

I’m thinking of doing a hike in the rain tomorrow. I need the exercise and it will be a nice way to get active again.

So a couple weeks ago I commissioned some amazing art by Omaze on FA who did an amazing job. I’m a writer so there’s nothing like being inspired.

Yesterday I got my surgical pins out. No longer need a splint. My boxer’s fracture is healing well after the surgery. Now I need to regain movement in my hand. I’m starting occupational therapy on Thursday. Soon I can practice drawing terribly again, doing detailed photo editing, and writing

Release of photos I took out west are going to be delayed for the foreseeable future along with any writing projects. I fractured a bone in my right hand twice which got even more complicated because they also found a most likely benign tumor.

Using this week as an opportunity to learn HDR photography. My problem is I’ll need to wait till I have access to my PC to merge them in Lightroom.

Taking landscape photos today with tripod. Stranger walks by and points at me. Says, “That’s real artwork right there.” Then he continued on. Felt nice to hear that comment.
