45 years ago, 36 people - mostly women, some with pushchairs - marched from Cardiff to Greenham Common to protest at US nuclear missiles being stored on UK common land. The march was the first stage of what became a 20 year camp for peace, against all forms of violence,

💚 Solidarity brought Armorel Weston to Greenham, being in awe of the women at the camp and wanting to support them. She had been an avid CND member on the front line of activism, originally being politicised by the Cuban missile crisis, but said Greenham was like taking on a new world.
