Fourteen peace campaigners were arrested during a 6 hour blockade at RAF Lakenheath on Tuesday 7th April. The Peace protestors used heavy-duty locks to attach themselves to a car, a large multi-coloured peace symbol and each other, completely blocking the main gates.

Last week, the Lakenheath International Peace Camp took place. Hundreds of peace campaigners gathered outside the airbase to show their opposition to it’s role in bombing Iran and Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the return of nuclear weapons to Suffolk.

In 1983, at the age of 55, Sarah joined the Greenham Women’s Peace Camp at Yellow Gate. For the next 17 years, this would be the community from which she protested against nuclear war. Read her story here ➡️ buff.ly/7phW8hz
