i love this recipe and also as a concept: make a flatbread dough, stuff it with veggies, roll it out and fry. universal and delicious!

what would make this even better is: cooking short grain rice along with the dal and making it into khichdi!

a recipe for: mint and peas pulao that is so fragrant and comforting you will want to make double! actually, you should make double and eat the leftovers the next day. mint can be subbed here with any other soft her you have languishing in your fridge!

Ultimately, Substack is gross, Scribehound is gross, and the way traditional media is expected to provide free writing for people unwilling to pay is gross. I don't know what the answer is but I'm leaning towards creating my own website with newsletter capability and leaving social media entirely.
