Felixe mostly misses his study and some of his stuff and his usual lifestyle more than what I tend to think of as homesickness.

In case you missed it: inkle's next game will be out in less than two weeks. If our account disappears between then and now, this trailer is why.

A day late but here's a little snippet featuring Jones (the player character), Felixe, and Professor Osbourne! A version of this is available in my demo on itch, but I've now removed references to The Magnus Archives and changed around some variables and such.

Probably something in the vein of relying on/trusting others and not cutting people off at the first sign of real conflict. To be fair, it was a kinda big conflict in the canon of our campaign. One day I will get to that point in the IF I'm writing and you can see if it happens to your Felixe, too!

Felixe is well off enough to own a small house in a relatively small college town and an older car. He lucked out that his books sell well and he's able to spend all of his time working on them. Again, initially a self-insert character so there was more than a little wish fulfillment lol

Felixe would want to do something low-key. Maybe dinner at a nice but not Nice nice restaurant, and/or a personally meaningful present, just something kinda small and intimate. Maybe do a weekend getaway to do some sight seeing or something for a big milestone.

Felixe tends to be a pretty practical thinker so I think he'd weigh the pros and cons and probabilities of achieving the goal. He's not one to give up quick, but he's less likely to fight for something he deems to be a lost cause without convincing external encouragment

The prejudice other characters have against Felixe is one of the major themes of Caedes lol He does not deal with it well. Big on the "do not talk about feelings and cut people off before they can cut you off" sorta guy

I really really really want to work more on my games this year! I still need to finish up BPBK and might still do some stuff for that, but outside of my podcasts and maybe some one off other projects (like the occasional game jam or writing challenge), those are my focus

Genuinely I don't think Felixe is really capable of that. He sort of has one depending on how certain events go in the game (they kinda went like that in the og campaign but not to the potential extreme), but in general he doesn't have a lot of true hate in him This is not always a good thing lol

I forgot Malaclypse (Masks campaign)! It goes between Felix and Amber

We'd probably get along fine but unless I did something significant to get his attention, we'd probably just be casual acquaintances and not friends or anything

I kinda gave Felixe green eyes as default (green eyes, red hair, and freckles are my go to for character appearance lol) and I have a hard time visualizing things But I think I want to change it to hazel As far as changing it, it's not something that really crosses his mind as a thing to do

The most Felixe will do is maybe switch up some of the magic charms he keeps around his office (that he very much thinks are fake) with ones more associated with the winter solstice, put on an ugly sweater, and drink some hot cocoa or apple cider spiked with Hot Damn

Felixe was bored to tears sitting in on meetings with his agent, who was trying to get him to do book tours and talk about movie rights etc. He ended up getting a new agent who left him alone as long as he turned in new books on time.
