There’s are comments and articles about the Makerfield Question Time episode, suggesting members of the panel didn’t challenge Reform’s candidate enough. The way I see it, the other candidates were unified in being competent, and Reform’s candidate was treated like the overgrown child he is.

Any political party in the United Kingdom, that is serious about getting seats in parliament, is, or will be part of the establishment, and must not, and effectively cannot override parliamentary sovereignty. That includes Reform, and The Green Party. Any talk of ‘executive orders’ is just talk.

Reform’s candidate for the Makerfield constituency, is going for the Islamophobia angle by trying to implying that Muslims are taking over Ince-in-Makerfield by turning an old school hall into a Mosque. The original church was sinking into a coal mine so had to be demolished.

Every time Green Party faces criticism, it's a "smear". No, it's valid criticism of an ugly stance taken by many Green activists that is seemingly in step with its Party leaders.

With the Makerfield election, really I think there is one goal now for candidates, including Andy Burnham, and Chris Kennedy: Do their best, honest job at getting as many people as possible to vote for them. There are no deals on the table, and this doesn’t look like a tactical voting scenario.
