I went to Norway 2 years ago and visited a few clubs. Amazing facilities, mass participation, football loving population, talent is not missed. Good coaching and organized national program. Just like other small population nations you get generations where 2-3 superstars emerge.

How lucky we are to have multiple strikers in amazing form in this World Cup.

The fundamentals of a country's football development are: How many kids kick a football around regularly. How much society values being particularly good at doing that. Does the good player have the opportunity to pursue sport as a career.
