10 years ago today I woke to the realisation that 52% of the electorate who had bothered to vote, had done so on the basis of a fantasy, and sent us down a path to isolationism and immense loss. It also scuppered my personal plans. The reality has been far worse than that.

They won everything they wanted and still they whine.

Jesus I am travelling early tomorrow and some clowns have started doing building work in the apartment block at 10.30pm. Electric wood cutters or sanders and lots of hammering. Even with the windows shut it’s impossible to sleep. It’s too much when the builders have been working all day next door

UPS is useless. They text to ask whether I want my parcel to be redirected to a collection point I’ve used before, I say yes. I get an email to say it will be delivered to my home today by the end of the day, but when I click to track it, it says the parcel is going to the click & collect point 🤷‍♀️
