Had a super busy day at work and I just got caught up on current events. Holy shit I'm heartbroken and furious.

I am sooo happy right now. My Vampire The Masquerade game went great. The courtroom drama was effective and my players had a lot of fun which is all I could ever ask for. I love this game and I love this hobby so much 💜

Started making overnight oats for breakfast and had it this morning and it was pretty tasty and healthy! Also it's super easy to prep which is what sold me on them. I figured 2026 is gunna be rough but I can still work on self improvement

Woke up at 2:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I went to the 24 hour pharmacy and picked up a prescription and at least tried to be productive. Now I'm at work waiting for everyone else to get here. Gunna be a long day.

Had day full of taking care of routine medical stuff so I've been quiet. I got everything done except tomorrow I need to rush to pick up my meds so I can get back to get ready to run Vampire, so I'm happy I've got that to look forward to

Both the VtM games that I run aren't till next week so I'm going through spooky withdrawals. One game is a big public trial in Cammy Court of my players arch-enemy and in my Anarch game my players return back to San Diego after a road trip to see that the cold war with the Cam has turned hot 🦇

Started doing my eyebrows and the left one was great, but the right looked too big in comparison. So I tried to make the left one larger to balance it, which started a sorta cold war arms race between my eyebrows. Now my forehead is just one big angry eyebrow and that's why no selfie today

Ok, next thing I need to do is make the character sheets for my CoC one-shot, organize all my notes into a format that makes referencing things easier and then I think I'll have a working prototype that I'm able to test on some players! It's kinda exciting to see things come together

I feel really good about all the work I got done on the Call of Cthulhu one shot today. I think that break for the holidays was just what I needed. One thing I'm realizing is that it's going to be a proper 4 hour game, given all the content I'm squeezing into it.

It's early and work is slow so I'm looking at old schematics plus museum maps of Iowa Class Battleships since I'm going to need to make my own for the Call of Cthulhu one shot I'm writing. Not sure what program I'm going to use to create the map however. I'm at a loss on that one
