Zooble noticed the blush on Gangle's cheeks, her own eyes lighting up a little if you knew what you were looking for. Thankful her face was already a little pink to hide her own bashfulness. Not that there was much to hide. " Nurse, are you flirting with me ? "

" Also for the record . The label said it was stupid pain meds. How could I have known it was just stupid sauce ? " She knew.

" Who cares if it does anyway ? " A sharp, short chuckle slipped out as Zooble nudged the jester gently towards Gummigoo. " But if it makes you feel better, I'll make sure to help Ragatha keep everything together . "

" Don't have to act . " A gentle tug was given to get Gangle to look at them again. " You're just cute all the time . "

" I forgot you weren't assigned as one of the sick ones . " Zooble's thumb brushed along Gangle's cheek, she adjusted her stance as her face adjusted to something curious. " So you're just being cute then ? "

" I'll be over here, pushing our pretending that I'm helping. " Zooble moves to sit behind the nurse station, he feet propping up on it. Despite her attitude she is going to help if things get ugly.

A small laugh rumbled throughout her modular frame, she moved over to the bed and pressed the back of her hand to Gangle's mask as if she could actually get a temperature that way. " Least you're not turning yellow yet, or hallucinating that the walls are spinning. "

" Good job . " A tiny tap of her foot accompanied the praise, her head tilting side to side, before moving towards one one of the patients. " Why don't you try and talk to your favorite lemon lime creature instead of worrying about Jax ? "

" Hey . Take a deep breath . " She shifts, her arms crossing over her chest. " It sucks to be so neglectful cause you're a decent person . But these NPCs literally go through worse than this on the regular and no matter what we do here , they won't remember it. "

" It was labeled pain medicine . " Zooble looks at her claw, twisting it as if inspecting fingernails that weren't there. The fact that it might be 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘱𝘪𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘶𝘤𝘦 mixed meds didn't matter. " It's probably fine . Besides we have like a hundred other patients to check on . "

She looks over at him, doesn't say a word then slow blinks as they look back at Caine.

" Hi Caine . " She groans, pushing a crash cart towards Pomni next to Jax's bed. " Can ' t you see I ' m busy ? "

With a gentle movement Zooble moves to push Gangle towards the patient area. "Find a bed, I'll bring you some real medicine. "

Zooble rolls their eyes before swinging the needle to rest against their shoulder before marching away triumphantly.

" I'm doing my job . " The needle gets pulled out, then pushed into Jax's leg swiftly, their clawed hand shifting to push some of the liquid in before pulling it out as quickly as they pushed it in. " There you go. Enjoy your 𝘴 𝘵 𝘶 𝘱 𝘪 𝘥 pain med. "

If Zooble had a mouth, there would be the most devilish grin on their face as she watched Jax attempt to get away. A swift swipe and the needle went right between Jax's legs narrowly missing him. " Now STOP hitting the call button. "

" Trust me when I say he'll be fine. Men always act the worst when their sick and Jax is as bad as at least ten men at once . . . " Their angular head turns to see a group of patients rolling around in their bed as if they were doing barrel rolls, before sighing and rolling their eyes.

A swift duck avoids the disgusting trashcan, their eyes narrow before they approach the crazy rabbit. " Time for your medicine. " Reaching into a nearby drawer the modular character pulls out a cartoonishly large needle and points it at Jax.

" COME ON !! " Zooble starts leading and shoving all the creatures into one small room, kicking and shoving and squeezing the door shut until it clicks and can be locked.

" I think you should be nicer to one of the people who has access to needles . . . And bed restraints . "

" Consider letting one of our patients in particular wallow in their suffering. "
