Merry Christmas! :) Bouncing through some books on my shelf and settled on this YA comfort read from my childhood. I read the first edition in the 90s and this edition in 2005 with updated translation and illustrations is still a treasure.

Finally found a copy of Dwight D. Eisenhower’s autobiography based around his involvement and command in the European theatre of WWII. Last time I saw this book was in high school over two decades ago, which I used for my senior year project. Only read half, especially the section on D-Day.

Been hearing a lot about this place, so decided to give it a shot. Gonna post about fanfics, my fav plushies, novel recs, and anything that catches my fancy. :D To start, rereading Mary Renault’s “The Persian Boy” while simultaneously reading Curtius’ biography of Alexander the Great.
