After many trials and tribulations, I finally got DaVinci Resolve working on Linux! Thanks to H3rz3n on github! KDenLive was constantly crashing and the UI was far too slow to be usable. Only downside, I now have to transcode my 290GB mkv file to a 2.6TB mov file to import it. YIPPEE
