I’m the last person who has read this particular copy.. as the glue on the spine kinda gave up and the first 20 pages, just fell away.. some I used as sketching paper. It’s a very good book, highly recommend everything I’ve read so far by Doug Johnstone…get books, get coffee,you deserve it!

Thank you so much for the love! Working on this has been (quite literally) a dream. The book was conceived in a magical instant. After a few hours, most of the contributors (some of my favourite writers of the supernatural and the uncanny) were on board.

It’s a gorgeous autumn day and Bookbug is free and open to all parents and carers with wee ones under 5.

Ambrosia. Kept us going today, my homemade chicken and veg, caraway soup. Nurses are golden, I love my tribe,never seen anyone move more or work harder.

Portobello is lovely any day of the week, especially on Doors Open Day when the Lothian buses are doing their thing though.
