Followup question does Sonic Mania suck to control, specifically on the Switch?

In Sonic Mania I fought the Death Egg Robot and when going onto it's arms it just retracted one of them way faster than it was supposed to. I was a bit frustrated with the fight, but that mostly stems from me not getting the gist until later. General question is this a hard Sonic game?

Am I the only person who thinks it's objectively wrong to have a game manual for a classic game, instead of a full-on tutorial and not just that, but not even have the decency to include it in the actual game itself? I would rather have it than not, but was this really the best way possible?

I kind of actually got good at Sonic Mania and got that DAMN Chaos Emerald.

Something I appreciate that I don't know if no one else does in Team Sonic Racing is that regardless of which stage you pick you'll progress through the story normally, unable to miss any context. Which I should applaud due to many other games just not doing that simple thing for no reason.

What's even worse is while this fight does take place in a town, you have to do it IMMEDIATELY AFTER a stealth section, meaning if you want to get healing because of a boss you don't expect you have to do that section all over again and that suuuucckkkss.

So I was playing Ni No Kuni and I just encountered a problem I have with the combat. For the most part you do good in combat mainly through skill of dodging attacks, defending at the right time, etc. But when I fought the Porco Grosso something strange has happened.

Time to play my favorite game: Wrath of the White Bitch.

Another red flag. If any enemies are on the level as the Goblins from Goblin Slayer then leave. Not every player wants that in their game and it's a very messy and touchy subject that won't always be executed the best.

D&D Red Flag: If your DM says "yeah my campaign is like Game of Thrones", run. Just. Run.
