Alright so Mario Kart DS Deluxe mostly sucks (which is sad since there’s a ton of potential) so instead I’ll be looking at CTGP Nitro which is a way more ambitious addition to Mario Kart DS

Thinking about putting in original courses from Mario Kart DS Deluxe in Minecraft as well since I recently managed to get my hands on it. Also because the courses, even ones from Mario Kart 8 has to abide by the physics of Mario Kart DS which would help me immensely with remaking MK8 courses

Today's progress on N64 Bowser's Castle in Minecraft! I've now completed the two sections before and after the lava pit! That is, the room with the paintings and the room with the statues. The room with the statues got a change in obstacles. Instead of thwomps, koopas are rearranging the tables :3

Alright so since this was a bit of a learning process for me, I decided to just say what's going on and not do a step-by-step this time Thwomps! Specifically the 3 by the long tunnel! How did I make em? Rope pulleys that constantly switch directions but only run one at a time. Alt text for more

While working on the next survey on my ongoing Mario Kart analysis project, I noticed a lighthouse a bit away from Yoshi Circuit. Please tell me I'm not the only one who never ever noticed that lighthouse. Seriously, I've played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for 6 years and played this course over and over!

As much as I love the idea of the next Mario movie being based on Super Mario Galaxy, I’m also a bit worried. Why? Well let’s look at the first movie. What was the one thing that made critics (and literally no one else) loathe the movie? Lack of depth in the story… (Continued in comments)

Somewhat hot take incoming I do not hate Bone-Dry Dunes. Is a good course? Not really, but it’s much better IMO than what everyone keeps saying. The orange aesthetic and the ship sailing by are all great touches! Don’t care much for the bone-y aesthetic tho, aside from the Dry Bowser reference :3

Today's update is a bit smol, only really got less than an hour's worth of progress done this time. So what did I get done? Uhhh I finally put some more checkered floor down + Marty's cage :3 I filled up the random lava pit with lava. Someone had to do it Oh and also built castle entrance :D

We're making a beeg return to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and we jumpin over split paths with this one!!!

Small extra (screenshotless sowwy) update on Minecraft Mario Kart thingies. Tried using a gravity control mod to replicate wall-driving and anti gravity from Mario Kart World and 8/8 Deluxe respectively. Worked fine for the player, but not the kart. 'twas not affected by gravity changes :<

Alrighty so MASSIVE update on N64 Bowser's Castle I've finally completed the road itself (similar to DS Delfino Square, which I have NOT forgor about) and made most of the first garden area, especially proud of the Bowser statue :3 Thwomps will probably be made using Create Mod (along with Marty)
