Finally caught Terrakion! Forgot to take screenshot right away tho. Unlike the other two, this one went through almost all my poké balls which is very slightly annoying. Named it Verne after Jules Verne who wrote Journey to the Center of the Earth among many other Sci-fi novels.

Decided to catch Virizion right away since I now had a pretty much foolproof plan to go with. Had to catch it with an ultra ball tho since it has giga drain which means my chances could potentially decrease anytime. Named it Hugo after Victor Hugo who wrote Notre-Dame de Paris. 1482

Decided to name it Dumas after the french novelist Alexandre Dumas who wrote The Three Musketeers of which Cobalion, Virizion and Terrakion were all based on I’ll probably use a similar naming basis for the other two but likely won’t be as thematically fitting since I don’t want em all called Dumas

So I just caught Cobalion in Pokémon White also with a great ball! This time I came prepared tho with at least 60 poké balls in total. My Emolga managed to paralyze it and my Fraxure slowly but steadily brought it to 1 HP using false swipe. With Emolga’s double team move, my plan was perfect.

Dumb Pokémon ability idea: Sleep Apnea If the Pokémon falls asleep it’ll take damage every turn (kinda like a mix between poison and sleep) but its defense stat increases every turn. Health recovering moves like Rest will still replenish the Pokémon’s health but that certainly won’t last.

Imagine if Beldum’s evolution was accurate to its biology. That means in order to evolve it to Metang you would need 2 Beldum and you would need 2 Metang in order to get Metagross. Even funnier would be if you could only get shiny Metagross the same way but exclusively with shiny Beldum and Metang.

Holy fucking shit I just randomly stumbled upon Articuno, went into battle right away (in retrospect kinda stupid) and caught it with a fucking great ball. I was unprepared btw, all I knew is I won’t get this chance twice so I just tossed all I had at it.

Maybe unpopular opinion but I’m not a fan of Garchomp’s design (or that of its pre-evolutions) I can understand ppl who think it looks cool like sure conceptually a mix between a wyvern, a shark and aircrafts. Alright alright! NOW I’m cooking some good stuff! This pre-evolution should be at least slightly stronger than Rotom to make up for its inability to change form. It won’t have its ghost type until evolving into Rotom bc it’s still a freshly formed lightning strike so only electric.

Alright cogs turning in my head. This lightning-y Pokémon could be a pre-evolution to Rotom. Just think about it for a moment. This Pokémon spawns from a lightning strike, then turns into Rotom once it stabilizes and gains the ability to possess stuff like a fridge or a fan.

So I just asked my mom would she would guess Emolga looks like and all she had to work with is that it was Electric and Flying. Her guess was actually kinda interesting: a sorta lightning strike-ish Pokémon. No it’s not just Rotom bc Rotom possesses electrical devices. Would be a cool Pokémon.
