It blows my mind that some places are even worse than the US right now, especially for someone like me who's newly coming out. It’s genuinely terrifying. Any woman who doesn’t fit their narrow idea of “femme” immediately becomes a target. this is sickening

That being said, one that comes to mind off the top of my head is Sara Montpetit, who stars in Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person. If you haven't seen the film, I highly recommend it! Please, someone, put her in more movies!

I love when a film surprises you — She Rides Shotgun did just that. What seems like a run-of-the-mill story turns powerful, and features a stunning 11-year-old actress who says more with her eyes than many do with words. Truly unforgettable work! My review for @thecurb.com.au
