In the early 1990s, someone asked about: "Would I have a topographic map, in a #digital environment?" This is how tools related to GIS and remote sensing began to appear looking like this.

Throughout history, great figures have influence #cartography and his methodology: Mercator and his projection, Ptolemy and the coordinates, al-Idrissi and his precision or Marie Tharp, who revealed the ocean floor. His work has transformed how we understand the world.
