Pushed a some updates today to enhance the overall security for Deletem, the overall oauth experience for self-hosted PDS enjoyers and some UI/UX polish to keep the site as fast and comprehensive as possible. Keep the feedback coming :)

Crazy that I made a CLI tool for myself that turned into this. Feeling inspired, and now that you can use any PDS, I feel I can expand and add more features. My to-do list is growing. Anything you'd like to see?

Here’s a demo of filters in action. I filter by posts in the last 6 months, that have images AND links with any label applied. Since it’s in dry run mode there’s no fear of accidentally deleting posts.

Recently onboarded a small tour that highlights the main flow for setting up some posts to delete. Check it out in the demo mode video: If you skip the demo mode, you'll also have the opportunity to take the tour upon first sign-in.

Just shipped some major UI/UX improvements to Deletem! What's new: • Landing page redesign • Interactive onboarding tour for first-time users • Full accessibility support: ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, screen reader friendly Try it out: deletem.app

Also cleaned up the login and demo paths. Had some unnecessary clicks needed to get to the dashboard. More tools should include a demo mode!

New features alert 🚨 - You can now filter by labels! - Added a whole section on ❤️ Likes deletion. - As I add filtering options, the site was getting a bit long in the scroll so I added drop downs to keep it clean.

If you’re on iOS (I’m sure Android has something like this I just don’t have one to test with) you can add deletem as an icon on your Home Screen! Just go to deletem.app > Share > Add to Home screen The icon actually will change color if you’re in light or dark mode!

With Deletem, you can make any of your bluesky posts into ghost posts! 👻

Today, Deletem is designed and tested for accounts hosted on bsky.social. Self-hosted PDS instances are not currently supported. I plan to support self-hosted PDSes in the future so keep an eye on this account for when that happens!

Using deletem.app, you can now you can filter (include or exclude!) your Bluesky posts by: Images only Videos only Posts with links GIF posts It still works with all the existing filters (keywords, date ranges, post types) so you can get really granular about what to delete.
