Went to a local used games convention today outside of Philly. Arcade flight combat games are a fun niche genre to collect. I suspect that if two of them sit on a shelf together long enough they spawn some new even more obscure release I've never heard of.

The saga continues. My car was at the shop as of last Friday. Get a call yesterday from them " your car is all fixed up". I drop off the rental and get a ride an hour away to the auto shop. Pay, start to drive off and... it was not all fixed. A distinct lack of breaks actually, among other concerns.

This temains a pain in the ass. First Progressive was going to total my car. Then they changed their minds. Its now at an autoshop to be fixed eventually I guess. Still needs a full lookover, so for the time being I'm spending almost $200 a week on a rental that Progressive is "helping" pay for.

I think it's cool and amusing that Marathon, a very mainstream AAA game in a style not typically concerned much with narrative, tells its story trough numerous visual novel-like moments. However, I think Bungie should take things a step further. Make them unskippable.
