This year, I want to work on specific things. My line work and getting clean transitions from hard edges to soft ones. Learning how to make my own custom brushes. And the last thing is giving my art my life and personality. I want to draw my boys in a more expressive way.

I got a shout out today from Bryce Quartz at Bear World Magazine. This makes me so happy. I put a lot of effort into my art and I always seconded guess myself but it’s nice to see people actually enjoy what I produce. 2026 is gonna be another year of learning for me and I’m excited for y’all to see.

Im going to be posting drawings that I didn’t upload in this tread from 2025. Some maybe unfinished or just doodles. This is the most recent one. He was suppose to be apart of my Christmas series but I didn’t finish, so i charged directions and just made him a cutie in a onesie.

I sketch almost exclusively in ballpoint pen nowadays, and it's still my medium of choice for plein air studies:
