Going with the "make it exist first, make it good later" philosophy for Mega Man X: Union's graphics and polishing. What I need to ensure is that the engine will allow me to make such refinements at a later point without breaking anything.

Small but important update: projectiles can now have an area of effect, and blast damage can be calculated based on distance to the impact point. This will be relevant to distinguish single-target and area attacks.

Thermon's Sever is his standard swordsman attack. The probability to perform an additional slash is proportional to his CG (here, I fixed it to 100%). The player has the option to trigger 'Temper' before every attack, boosting its damage and adding more to the CG.

There is always that guy who is overdramatic.

Testing different levels of a same skill based on a parameter (in this case, Platina's remaining WE). Although the increasing pitch and screen shake contributed to the impact, I felt something was missing, and adding the camera zoom feature helped a lot.
