I just learned about 'solastalgia' from philosopher Glenn Albrecht—an emotional connection to place profound enough that its degradation causes genuine distress. Feeling this.

In Sufi writing, it’s common to speak of Love ambiguously. It’s unclear if the Beloved the Sufi refers to is God, or a lover — because for the Sufi, it’s one and the same. God is Love & the Supreme Beloved. In loving, one becomes a lover. In being a lover, one becomes the Beloved.
