Before I went any further, I slapped the two side by side to make sure they felt cohesive. I like to think they read well enough as twins and hopefully their designs are clear enough to give you a sense of who the two are without needing all the extra text in the main sheets. I'm happy with it!

Finally finished the twins! I wanted them to have enough similarities to be obviously recognizable as siblings, but also have as many traits that are uniquely theirs. It's easy to get sloppy with your main OCs, so as silly as it felt at first, I'm glad I got around to these. #OCsky #webcomic

I updated my Patreon tiers! Now "Stars and Sips Society" can join monthly writers' rooms calls on Discord, to get story advice and brainstorming help from me and other creators. In the last one we discussed one member's short stories, another member's comic, and my own plot problem in Chapter 5.

I've desperately needed to make proper character reference sheets for Shinobu and Cole for some time now. I still can't figure out why I get so nervous making these darn things! I'm still doing the sketchy Nora journal ones, too, but these are more for the actual comic work. (With trivia, though!)

Practicing a simpler coloring for the comic than what I'm usually comfortable with! I think it looks good enough, though, and that's good enough for me. (Also, yes, small preview!)

It's messy, it's constantly going through changes, and you can see where I've dumped panels I like but am saving for later, but man -- it's cool to zoom out and be like, "Good lord, it's coming together." Just a little at a time.

I freakin' love the Friday the 13th franchise. I have a replica of his mask from the 2009 movie hanging in my office. The amount of care put into each version of him is a highlight of the franchise for me. The fact they're pushing AI crap and touting it as his new design? Disgusting.

I've been noticing an unusual amount of improvement on my stuff recently and was trying to figure out why until my buddies were like, "Wow, it's almost like pumping out a shit ton of sketches for your storyboards is great practice." What would I do without you guys.

More practice and a WIP! I've been experimenting with hatching brushes and CSP's tone tools, because I want the comic to be done in the traditional black and white style. (That may change as things progress, but who knows!) Still a lot to learn, but hey our girl's on a mission here.
