well, my fancy new 144hz monitor just... suddenly stopped working. I've not even had it for a week and I can't seem to make my computer recognize that it exists no matter what I do. And it just... suddenly happened. There was no inciting incident like a power surge or anything to cause it, afaik.

got some work done in the yard today. it was nice to actually do something with my hands for once. I like actually accomplishing things. wish I could get this feeling more often without the self-sabotaging depression cycle keeping me down
