Starting to settle on a final design, still working out the colors and some small details like hair length. I love how this change into a Grimp (A grim shrimp?) came about kind of organically and it's just because I thought the "You're telling me a shrimp fried this rice?" is very amusing #art #oc

Magma board stuff

Like I mentioned in the last post, I wanted to try animating the power to create weapons and tools as if forged from their body. So I did.

Starting to really like the idea of my OC producing weapons and tools as if smelting and smithing them into existence. I keep imagining all kinds of action scenes and at some point wanna try animating some. #oc #art

Love it when some weapons have that glowing hot effect on them. Recently I've been drawing mostly on Magma art boards, there's just a different vibe to it than working on something alone in Clip Studio. It's been fun, but I wanna make something a bit more proper again with better tools.

Happy Halloween! I attempted a skull that I found on Amazon. I think front facing was okay but I totally butchered it when having it look away. Anyone got any tips or exercises to improve?

Found some tutorials on drawing windows and found that they're basically done by inconsistent shading. I think I'll try using this next time I draw a building
