I’m always sceptical of conflicts being caused by intergenerational differences but if the interns of the future hand in AI-generated falsehoods as their own work, I may have to reevaluate.

This is a great read but I especially appreciate how the target of trust is broken down into “methods (formal or otherwise), metrics, expert competencies, [and] cultures of research,” which I find are much easier to define and assess.
