Can't shake that Watford is perfect budget 4 player for Embiid. He's ability to drive/make entry/interior passes and cut is the perfect pairing (as far as 4's who can't shot go). Hope they get enough time to get more chemistry.

The biggest problem I have seen with the Embiid, PG and Maxey is lack of chemistry which makes sense and becomes more apparent as other teams get more comfortable. There is also a problem with hierarchy and disconnect between theory and practice.

With a lot less time on my hands to enjoy basketball I've become a true Sixers sicko. My first reaction to the Knicks winning is the hope they get a post win hangover and are easy pickings on Friday. Also winning the cup in Vegas. To playing a back-to-back in Indy and NYC is hardly a reward.

Sixers still don't have a single lineup that has played more than 100 possessions. And most likely won't have one for a while. Not going to look at every other team, but a cursory look and every team I checked has quite a few. Their record is remarkable for the lack of consistency. still not ideal.

Sixers got significancy outshot by 3. Had more turnovers but took 6 more shots and made 8 more. That’s one way to win the battle against 3pt regression.

Don't know if you can find a PF/big wing who can pass (and also be in the NBA) in the second round, but that is something the Sixers need. Both Bogolijub Marković, and Noah Penda seem to bring some passing at the PF position. If anyone else has any ideas please share.
