The 6 seed is probably gone at this point. The best chance is a Raptors collapse...but TOR has three games left against tankers. Sixers also have three against tankers. My guess: If they sweep those and go 2-2 in the other four they'll hang on to 7. (Still think top 8 is *fairly* safe)

Sixers deserved to lose that one. Couldn't put away a Heat team that was ice cold from three most of the night. That said...insane home whistle from the refs. That offensive foul on Embiid gets called maybe one time out of 100. Then nothing when Herro rakes his arm. Seven-point swing right there.

Quentin Grimes is having the worst three-point-shooting season of his career...but still scoring pretty efficiently because he's getting to the rim a lot and drawing more fouls than ever. He's basically become a battering ram offensively. It's an impressive pivot.

The Sixers are shooting 25% from three since Maxey went down. That's *by far* the worst mark in the NBA over that span. Like 5 percentage points worse than the next worst team. It's a minor miracle they're 3-2 in those games.

With the Sixers in desperation mode, they should learn more into small-ball lineups. In 262 possessions with Barlow at center, the Sixers have a +7.2 point differential (83rd percentile) and a 127.5 offensive rating (99th percentile).

The craziest part of Embiid's 70 isn't the efficiency or the minutes or whatever. It's that he only made one three. I think in 50 years or whatever that's the part that will stand out.
