Artists, never forget that you are not a brand. You do not need to be consistent and marketable. If you CHOOSE to strive for these things that’s fine, but you do not NEED them. You are a fucking person, multi-faceted and complex. People who do not respect that see your art as a product

Perfectionism is the creativity killer. Perfectionism is the little doubt that whispers "is this any good?" I will permit the imposter syndrome to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, only a "fuck it, we ball" will remain.

My advice for posting art that may or may not be helpful is truly that you miss every single shot that you do not make. Post every two days. Do not stop. Treat every post like a banger. One day one might be! It took posting consistently for 12 weeks on IG for the algo to like me.
