My sister said she was glad she was craving chips right now because “The Chip Christmas” is coming up She meant the Super Bowl. She’s not wrong.

Today I painted this little guy for my daughter. She requested a “cutie mushroom on a rock in a lake with lily pads.” I think this works. We don’t tell her mushrooms don’t grow on rocks. That they are decomposers that break down organic material, particularly lignin and cellulose from trees. 😁🍄

My kids love stealing my phone and taking pictures of me. Here’s one where I thought they were actually interested in learning about the medicinal benefits of #yarrow - nope, they just wanted to gather evidence that my nose does resemble the beak of a hawk.

My favorite place in the world. This is our garden. It is home to herbs like bee balm, St. John’s wort, and chamomile. It is home to bumble bees, butterflies, and roaming rabbits. It’s where our family goes to recharge and refresh our spirits. Where is your favorite place?
