I think it is pretty neat that another Fire Emblem game is on the way, and nothing will stop me from feeling good about it.

I beat Silksong. Like actually beat it. It was hard, and I died a lot, but there were several times that I got sick of the abuse and locked in. And I have to say that the final ending of Silksong made the final ending of Hollow Knight even better. What an amazing game.

We can do better. We can go for 100%.

Sometimes I wish that my closest friends were into more of the same things as me. They are still my friends either way because our camaraderie is nothing superficial. However, when I get excited about things, there are no others that I would rather get hyped with. At least they humor me on occasion.

Slight spoilers. Being a sequel, Silksong absolutely expects for you to have played Hollow Knight to understand its lore and implications. It is amazing how much of the reveals come directly from Hornet's dialogue. She is casually drops more lore than Hollow Knight did on a surface level.

I hope the next Super Smash Bros. gives as much love to alternate costumes as what was given to Sora. His alts did not look like simple recolors. They were faithful recreations of his different outfits. I want that for other characters with long histories of various character designs. Like Samus.

Today is the one year anniversary of the day I got my cat Milton. This is him the day he came home versus now. What a handsome lad.

Watched the KBash video on the Valkyria Chronicles series. I have only played the first and fourth games, and I was hoping to try the others someday. Less so now. In a way, it is nice to know that I have already experienced the best of the series. Those games rule.

Donkey Kong Bananza is phenomenal, but I know how this goes. Give it a year, if even that, and several people who thought it was the best thing ever are going to suddenly change their minds and try to convince others that it is a bad game, actually.

Played through as much I could of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales demo. I was expecting an action RPG, but I got classic Zelda action adventure. Definitely not a bad thing. I am glad that the demo gave me plenty of tools to work with. The fairy was a cool utility.

So let me get this straight. The Switch versions of a lot of these upcoming games have regular game cards, but the Switch 2 versions are game key cards despite their similar file sizes? It makes no sense.

Xenoblade side-quests be like "find this kid's black market connection so you can refurbish a prison camp where you are hiding all of these child soldiers who have committed too many war crimes to list". But in true Xenoblade fashion, the shady ass black market peddler looks like this.

I platinumed all of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. This series got much better as time went on. I had played through FFVI SNES and FFIV DS; I played a little bit of FFIII DS and FFV GBA. I am a bit late to the first two games. It was not always the best experience, but I am glad I played them.

Sometimes I just want to correct random strangers on the Internet about video game trivia, but then it hits me that not even I care that much.

The Ostrich Bananza theme in Donkey Kong Bananza was bugging me because the start of it sounded very familiar, and it just hit me. It sounds a lot like the opening of the Giga Rosa battle theme from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, of all things.

Been playing through the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters. I had to turn the brightness levels down to 25 across all six games. The new graphics look oversaturated, but the lower brightness makes them not just look better in my opinion but closer to how I remember them. I recommend doing the same.

Been over a year since Dungeon Meshi season one's final episode aired. May wither up and turn to dust if I do not get some season two news soon.

I did not realize that there was a rhyme and reason to some of techno gibberish Xenoblade Chronicles X track titles. I just assumed Hiroyuki Sawano could not think of any more German words and defaulted to headbutting his keyboard.

Watching my brother play through that part of Xenoblade Chronicles 3, in chapter 5. I am glad it is written in there, but it does bother me a bit that Taion, the tactician, is repeatedly ignored when he expresses unease about how sloppy Ghondor's plan is. Considering what happens, he was right.

Zelda #Spoilers Some of the voice memories for Tears of the Kingdom make it feel more like a sequel to Breath of the Wild than almost anything in the actual game. Still baffling how all the Sheikah tech was just handwaved away.

I have a feeling that Ghost of Yotei was the one game the majority of people tuned in to the State of Play to see, so it was weird to see it barely get any focus. At least there is some information coming soon.

I am glad that etiquette around cosplay is better because I used to get random hugs without consent. I also avoided hugging people altogether for the longest time until I got over myself. Still feels weird, especially with strangers. Cosplaying Laios does not hurt, though. He is difficult to hug.
