today I am loving the UN Geneva Archives platform which hosts the complete League of Nations archives, digitised, entirely free some archive digitisation programs are very clunky & hard to use, this is immaculate & has an incredibly user friendly interface + excellent metadata

Dr. Michael Franczak, Senior Researcher at UNU-CPR, sits down with Marc Uzan, Executive Director of the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee, to explore the origins, innovations, and impact of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the New Development Bank (NDB).

They explored the challenges facing the UN system, including institutional silos and unequal representation. They stressed the opportunities created by current geopolitical trends, and the value of alliances and innovation to address contemporary global challenges.

Today, Dr. David Passarelli, UNU-CPR Director, and Dr. Eleonore Fournier-Tombs, Head of Anticipatory Action and Innovation (UNU-CPR), engaged with students in IE University’s Executive Master in International Development program, a collaboration with the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC).

A little cross post: I have my 200 Canadian politics students do a survey every class. It contains some short-answer questions that they have to go and research something online, some general reflection/opportunity for opinions on course content, and then some #cdnpoli polling Qs.

I'm finishing up my courses at Queen's (these students are a joy!) this winter & then on to a new adventure. In May, I'm joining the UN University's Center for Policy Research! After going to UNU's workshop this week, we will be moving to NYC in May (hence the speed wedding🥰)

In the interest of posting more, I did something else besides writing and teaching recently (though it did feature reading) ☺️
